2024 Winter Workshop

The topic for the winter workshop is: How to Host a Section Meeting & How to Keep Chapters Viable – This will be a FULL DAY winter workshop

 Lunch will be included in the cost of attendance (You will be asked to make a selection during the registration process):

•  CHICKEN CAESAR WRAP: Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad with Parmesan Cheese wrapped in a Flour Tortilla
• TURKEY CLUB SANDWICH: Turkey Club with Bacon, Avocado, and Havarti Cheese on a Sourdough Roll
• HAM AND SWISS SANDWICH: Ham and Swiss Cheese with Dijonaise, Lettuce, Tomato, and Onion on Ciabatta
• VEGAN WRAP: Grilled Zucchini, Roasted Red Pepper, Micro Greens, Tomato, Onion, Avocado, and Hummus wrapped in a Spinach Tortilla

We are working on options for dinner the night before…There are SEVERAL great places within walking distance (my favorite would be Sauced – it’s a BBQ place). 

Airport:

Sacramento International Airport (KSMF) will be for commercial flights as well as private flights.

SMF has two terminals (A & B) – there is some construction going on at the airport as well as the road and will have information and updates as I can get them. This WILL NOT hinder anyone from flying in!

SMF’s FBO is Modern Aviation (formerly Sacramento Jet Center) located off RWY 17R/35L off Taxiway A (closest taxiway is A13 to G)

We currently do not have a pick-up available & there is not a hotel shuttle. Uber & Lyft are available, also rental cars are available on both the commercial side & general aviation side.
